I found a dupe for the viral Ruti pants – and it’s under $50

If you’ve been online at all lately, you’ve probably seen the countless influencers raving about the Ruti “On The Loose” pants. They’re touted as the perfect mix of comfy and chic – easy to dress up or down, and flattering on just about everyone. But at $259? I can’t quite justify the price.

After seeing a friend wear them (and yes, they really are that good), I figured there had to be a dupe out there.

So naturally, I headed to Amazon and searched “Ruti dupes” – and found a lot of options.

Like any of us would, I went straight to the reviews and customer photos to see which ones actually lived up to the hype. I ended up ordering one pair, and honestly? They exceeded my expectations. They even arrived in two days, which didn’t hurt.

I’ll admit, I usually prefer investing in fewer, higher-quality pieces. But spending over $200 on pants made mostly of nylon just didn’t feel right this time.

And these Under $50 Ruti Dupes?

They’re comfortable, breezy, and surprisingly flattering. Side by side, it’s honestly hard to tell the difference.

The only downside – especially if you’re petite like me (I’m 5’2”) – is that they don’t come in petite sizing like the original Ruti version. They hit right at my ankle, which I actually don’t mind, but I may get them tailored for a slightly cropped look.

I recently traveled to New York City, and wore them all around the city with a sweater and boots, and then on the plane home with a sweatshirt and sneakers. There’s nothing better than a pair of pants that can be taken from day to night, or work to travel.

Now would I love a pair of the original Ruti pants?

Of course.

But if you’re looking for a budget-friendly option to try, these are definitely it.

Let me know if you try them (or if you’ve found any other dupes that stack up)!
