About

Midlife Mom is a collective of moms beyond postpartum and toddlers, talking about the real sh*t that real moms are talking about on group chats with their real friends.

We all loved mommy and baby blogs, but we don’t have babies anymore. We have big kids, tweens, teens and grown kids. Our problems and experiences are different now! We have braces to pay for and wills to prepare. We are saving for college and for vacations. We’re applying to high schools and colleges. We’re losing our shit with our kids and partners (sometimes) while we’re in or beyond perimenopause. We have our own kids and our own parents to take care of. We have husbands or partners OR we are glad to be alone. We have products we love, and we want you to discover them, too.

We are all the things— but mostly we’re here to talk about our experiences together— and with YOU.

The team at Midlife Moms are the incredible moms leading the conversations in my groups, I hope to share the conversations you are having with YOURS.

Jenny Altman
Editorial and Brand Director, Jenny has headed up some of the most important parenting brands (Bobbie, Ergobaby, Cerebelly, Lalo, Scary Mommy). She founded Midlife Mom in 2026 to talk openly and honestly about real life things that midlife moms actually care about— just like she does in her friend-group chats.
Olivia DeLong
Olivia is a storyteller and content strategist with an expertise and passion for women’s and children’s health. Formerly senior editor at BabyCenter and What to Expect, her proudest accomplishment and greatest joy in life is being mom to 6-year-old daughter Amelia. She's here to speak up and help other moms feel seen during life’s most challenging, yet rewarding moments, no matter how big or small.
Tonilyn Hornung
Tonilyn has always preferred writing in her room to playing kickball outside. She’s a freelance writer with work published in HuffPost Parenting, Insider, Good Housekeeping, and The Washington Post. She lives with her husband, tween son, and many furry friends.
Amy Morrison
Amy Morrison is the founder of Pregnant Chicken, a no-BS pregnancy and parenting site she started in 2010 after getting fed up with patronizing baby advice. A former ad agency creative director and mom of two boys (17 and 20), she's been serving up straight-talking, funny guidance to parents-to-be ever since.
Paige Johnson-Serjue
Building community, disrupting blueprints, and helping parent-focused brands grow with impact (all on very little sleep). Paige is an award-winning marketer, best-selling author, founder of Parental Guidance (PG) Marketing + cool mom of two.
Dani Hampton
Former high school English teacher turned content creator and marketing professional, Dani blends storytelling with strategy to build authentic, high-impact digital communities. She specializes in social media and influencer marketing, helping brands connect with modern parents through trusted voices and meaningful content.
Elieke Kearns
Elieke is mom to a 5-year-old and a 1.5-year-old. By day, she's a nutrition scientist at ARMRA, by night (and in the margins), she helps CPG brands cut through the noise with evidence-based guidance.
Donna Duarte-Ladd
Donna Duarte-Ladd leads editorial at New York Family Media and runs a substack, Land of Mothers, writing about parenting, family life and life as a special needs mom to her Autistic son.

Kim Evey
Kim Evey lives in Los Angeles where she has worked as an actor, writer, stand up comedian and producer but her favorite job titles are Mom and Wife. There is a high probability that she wore at least one article of clothing inside out today.
Megan Hungerford
Megan is a NYC single mom of two boys with deep Michigan roots. Between her fashion career, refereeing arguments over Nintendo Switch, and driving all over the tri-state area for youth sports, she became the go-to for friends navigating divorce and discovered her calling as a separation, divorce, and single parenting coach.
